The Bad, Bad Place

Announced today on Bleeding Cool, The Bad, Bad Place is my latest project with the legendary Mark Stafford. Mark and I have collaborated twice before, with an adaptation of The Colour Out Of Space for SelfMadeHero's HP Lovecraft Anthology, and on the adaptation of Victor Hugo's The Man Who Laughs, also for SelfMadeHero. The latter was nominated for Best Book in the 2013 British Comic Awards and was such a success we vowed to work together as much as possible in the future. The Bad, Bad Place is just the first of those collaborations and will be serialised in Soaring Penguin's Meanwhile bi-monthly magazine, launching in May of this year, and also published digitally on Sequential. Meanwhile will also feature the long-awaited conclusion of Gary Spencer Millidge's Strangehaven, which I have been reading since it first launched in 1995. You can read more about Strangehaven on DownThe Tubes.

To whet your appetite for The Bad, Bad Place, here's a sketch Mark did while he was waiting for me to write some script…

And just for the hell of it, some unpublished art by Mark…

As much as i try, I can't seem to find any info about Meanwhile.
Could you elaborate on it a bit?
